African
American Motivational Speaker Once a Poor Boy In Haiti, Now Invited By The Napoleon
Hill Foundation To Deliver a Life-changing & Motivational Keynote
On How Mr. Hill’s Philosophy Changed His Life Unable to speak English, Rene arrived in America with
five dollars, two shirts and one pair of pants housed in a tattered briefcase.
His hope was to one day be able to lend a hand to his village in Haiti.
Where many would see nothing but overwhelming odds stacked against them,
Godefroy saw an abundance of opportunity and a chance to pursue the “American
Dream.” “Napoleon Hill’s philosophy on success is what
put me on the road to living my dream. Prior to reading Think & Grow
Rich, I had only heard of the word success. But through his book, it was
Mr. Hill who shared it’s ingredients with me.” Says Godefroy.
Once in America, Godefroy summoned his keen survival instincts
to pursue his ambitions. He taught himself English and read voraciously.
As his knowledge increased, his quality of life improved and his dream
of helping his fellow Haitians and making an impact in America was sure
to be realized. Today, as one of America’s
most sought-after and inspiring motivational keynote speakers, Rene is
renowned both nationally and internationally. His advice on achieving
success has graced the ears of thousands! He has appeared on CBS's 60
Minutes, in a segment that featured Zig Ziglar, and Colin Powell. Armed
with a passionate story and a compelling vision, Rene exemplifies the
essence of what makes America great! ---------------------------- Discover How a Mentor Can Help
You Jumpstart Your Career and Triple Your Income Twenty years ago, after struggling
for survival in a tiny Haitian village, I arrived in America. I had only
five dollars, two shirts, one pair of pants, and I didn’t speak
any English. My success in this great land would be unthinkable to many.
And I am often asked to share my secrets. Well, there are no secrets
to my achievements. I simply seek out people with the right answers to
mentor me. Some mentored me through books, and others in person. Your
accomplishments in life are directly related to the kind of sustaining
mentor/mentee relationships you have created. School is a good thing. But
years of schooling cannot teach us the good old and highly-effective method
of getting to the heart of success. Think about it this way, we go to
school and gobble truckloads of information in order to finish school
quickly. We, then, enter the world of
work only to realize that experience is the real teacher of all teachers.
And nowadays, all of the job postings are asking for experience. We find
ourselves frustrated and fumbling in the dark alleys of personal and professional
success. We wonder why we can’t make big money in our business or
career. In addition to providing ideas
and guidance, your mentor will hold you accountable for your success.
That alone is priceless. Like the great Jewish King Solomon said, “As
iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
